It’s called a roof lifter • blowing it off the rafters

breathe the interstellar gas • what effect will it have

enter the discovery zone • replicate your self

many times over • for the amusement of the crowd

they are clapping themselves helplessly silly

unable to define reality • with any cross hatching lines of declension

therefore the emptiness comes closer • defined as gray

matter dissolving into distant galaxies

hold it right there • I don’t buy it

only if it’s on sale over at walrus market • down by the river

on boats with persian carpets for feet of royal goats grazing

never before seen on TV • eating money and drinking oil

what a scene • even billy shears was there cutting radio hair

come one • come all • for a drink and some hot air

shake a fist • but beware • of deep cornflakes

meant to scare crows • only to discover

they aren’t there
