Why climate change is good
Let me count the ways. To think I have been wrong about this my entire life. From the very first weekly reader in 6th grade showing a picture of smokestacks belching clouds of something or other into the air. A menacing and frightening scene for sixth graders showing us how the world will end.
all during class discussion with sister Veronica. Yet being a sixth grader made the consequences seem far off. and sister wasn’t exactly pro science if you know what I mean. Now I’m 72 and the smokestacks are still belching more then ever • especially all the invisible methane vaping it’s gaseous place
into our atmospheric brew. Gasoline and cars•might as well be Mars. I used to be afraid•but no more. Mother earth has finally had enough of us disturbing the peace. I’m glad she’s pissed. Thanks Mom! Rising sea level•the higher the better • learn to farm mountains like in Tibet. Florida isn’t really a loss •it was always a swamp. Mom will eventually take a hammer to California and break off a chunk. The big beneficiary here is Alaska of course. No people and plenty of everything. I’m still liking the midwest where I am planted. Lakes of fresh water, trees and black dirt for awhile. Who doesn’t like hurricanes • on television of course. Bummer if you’re stuck in one. Kind of like the big bad wolf blowing your house down • over and over. Tornadoes are more of a crap shoot. I’m sure they happen everyplace not just Kansas. Floods • well it is a water planet. Face it • we are just a big hydrocarbon fart factory. How humiliating! or liberating on Route 66. I won’t know because I’m unplugged. I will just know how it is outside today in the yard.
Hot cold • rain •shine • hurricane • tornado. It’s all good. I would add there should be more lightning and thunder. Mom likes to burn things too clear cutting payback I suppose. It’s why the big producers could care less about the climate. Mom is returning the favor. She told me • live for today Kid
I got this.
